Note Calendar for iOS · Last updated 28 September 2026

In short

Note Calendar has no accounts and no server of its own. Everything you write — your notes, your routines, your voice recordings and your archive — stays on your iPhone and is never uploaded to us.

Three third-party services receive limited technical information: anonymous usage statistics, crash reports, and your subscription status. None of it identifies you, none of it is used to track you across other apps or websites, and none of it is ever sold.

1. Who this policy is from

Note Calendar (also published as Not Takvimi, Notizkalender and CalendarioNotas) is an iOS app developed and published by Berkay Sancar, an independent developer. In this policy, "the app" means Note Calendar and its Home Screen widget, and "we" means the developer.

This policy explains what the app does with information. It applies to the app only, not to any website or service that the app may link to.

2. What stays on your device

The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. The following never leave your iPhone and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else:

This content is stored in the app's own private container on your device, and is shared with the Note Calendar widget through a private app group so the widget can draw your next note. It is not backed up to any server we operate. If you have iCloud Backup or encrypted device backups switched on in iOS, your device backup is handled by Apple under Apple's own terms, not by us.

3. What leaves your device

The app uses three third-party services. Each receives only what is listed below.

3.1 Usage statistics — Google Firebase Analytics

The app reports anonymous, aggregated information about how it is used: which screens are opened, which features are used, and general device information such as the device model, operating system version, language and country. This is collected under a random identifier generated for this installation, together with the device's vendor identifier (IDFV). It is not linked to your identity, and the contents of your notes are never included.

We use this to understand which parts of the app people actually use, so that the app can be improved. Provider: Google (Firebase privacy information, Google Privacy Policy).

3.2 Crash and stability reports — Google Firebase Crashlytics

When the app crashes or misbehaves, a technical report is sent so the fault can be found and fixed. It contains the state of the program at the moment of the crash, the device model and the operating system version. It does not contain your notes, your recordings or any other content you have written.

Provider: Google (same links as above).

3.3 Subscriptions — RevenueCat

Premium subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are sold through Apple's App Store and managed with RevenueCat, which records your purchase history so the app knows whether your subscription is active and can restore it on a new device. This is tied to a random anonymous identifier, not to your name or email address.

We never see and never receive your payment details. Your card, your billing address and your Apple Account are handled entirely by Apple and are never visible to us.

Provider: RevenueCat, Inc. (RevenueCat Privacy Policy). Purchases themselves are handled by Apple (Apple Privacy Policy).

3.4 Speech recognition — off by default

Voice notes are transcribed on your device. For a small number of languages your iPhone has no on-device speech recognition; in that case, and only then, the app shows a switch in Settings called "Transcribe over the internet". This switch is off unless you turn it on.

If you turn it on, recordings in those languages are sent to Apple to be transcribed, and are handled under Apple's privacy policy. If you leave it off, nothing is sent and those recordings simply remain recordings. No recording is ever sent to us.

4. What the app never does

5. Permissions the app asks for

Every permission is optional, is requested only when you first use the feature that needs it, and can be withdrawn at any time in the iOS Settings app. Refusing one only disables that feature.

6. Deleting your data

You are in control of everything the app holds:

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are managed in the App Store, reachable from Settings → Premium → Manage subscription inside the app, or from Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

7. How long data is kept

Content on your device is kept until you delete it or delete the app. Analytics and crash data are retained by Google for the retention period configured for this project and are then deleted automatically. Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat for as long as needed to keep your subscription working and to meet Apple's and applicable accounting requirements.

8. Children

Note Calendar is a general-audience note and calendar app. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please write to us and it will be removed.

9. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom (GDPR/UK GDPR): you have the right to access the data concerning you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because the app holds no account and no directly identifying information, we may be unable to connect a request to a particular person; in that case we will say so.

The legal bases we rely on are our legitimate interest in keeping the app working and improving it (analytics and crash reports), and the performance of a contract with you (subscriptions and purchases). You may object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time by writing to us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority.

If you are in Türkiye (KVKK): you have the rights set out in Article 11 of Law No. 6698, including the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, and to request its erasure.

If you are in California: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

To exercise any of these rights, use the contact address in section 11.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be described in the App Store release notes for the version that introduces them.
